Enjoy absolute seclusion, comfort and tranquility within a few steps of the waters edge on this unique and stunning stretch of pristine, New Zealand coastline.
Waikawa B&B is nestled within lush natural & landscaped grounds with magnificent ocean views/sunsets across to active volcano - White Island.
Bed & Breakfast units (Bellbird & Tui) have ensuite bathroom, TV, fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities, etc. Both units have their own entrance and are separate from our house though close enough to ensure you feel like a welcome guest in our home.
The upstairs Bellbird Suite has wonderful sea views both from within & a private balcony with outside table/chairs etc.
Includes microwave, diningware, kitchen sink.
Although the "Bellbird" & "Tui" are seperate and private, an interconnecting door may be accessed for family groups or friends. A delicious continental breakfast is provided specialising in our organically grown fruit, home baked bread on occasions and fresh local produce. You are also welcome to use the BBQ facilities.
Direct private access down cliff-side steps to an enchanting pebble beach & rocky foreshore. Enjoy a paddle in our two kayaks or catch a fish for supper.
Some of the best fishing and diving in New Zealand is at our doorstep or for something different take an exhilarating jet boat ride on the mighty Motu River, go bush walking, river or beach swimming, horse treking, or take a guided walk to learn about local Maori history and culture.
