5 min drive to CBD and the shopping basket of the lower North Island, including 4 live theatres, Downtown Cinema 8 and the Rugby Museum. Restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes. 10-45 min drive will take you to the wind farm, herb farm, golf courses, Manfield, Alcatraz and beaches. Palmerston North is very central, 2 hrs drive to Napier, Wellington, and even less to the Wairarapa. Taupo 3hrs.
