Start your Northland adventure here and use us as a base to explore the beautiful and scenic Whangarei Heads area with easily accessible natural coastline and bays. Glorious Ocean Beaches and surfing 20 minutes drive away. Go to Urquaht's Bay, walk over to Smugglers Cove with white sand and delicious swimming.There are many walks in the area suitable for all levels of fitness. climb MT Manaia with spectacular views over Whangarei harbour and well beyond.The Pines Golf course in a spectacular setting is 5 minutes away.Several other courses are within a half hour drive.
Day trips can easily made to the Bay of Islands,Matakohe Kauri Museum and the mighty kauri trees of Waipoua forest.The Lion Park a half hour drive.
