Pukaha Mt Bruce Wildlife Centre, Castlepoint, Cape Palliser with seal Colony, wineries, excellent walks in the Tararua Forst Park, Henley Lake, Aratoi Art Centre and more. Being just a 2 hour drive from Wellington, Tidsfordriv Rural Retreat is an ideal stop off point en route to Napier.
At the end of the day relax with a complimentary refreshment on the verandah overlooking the lake. Glenys invites you to dine with her for the evening meal and enjoy good conversation about gardening, conservation, travel and local history especially the early settlement of the area. On a clear night, stargazing is excellent - a special treat for our Northern Hemisphere visitors!!
