Built in the 1920's it enjoys extensive northern lake views to take full advantage of all day sunshine.
Being lake edge, all rooms have outstanding views over Lake Rotorua to Mokoia Island and beyond, take a walk along the lake edge, swim in the lake, make free use of our kayaks, relax on sun beds in our beautiful gardens or just enjoy our luxurious spa room.
Your hosts Carol and Ken Saxby have travelled widely around the world and have lived and worked in New Zealand, The United Kingdom and The Middle East. Ken, a Business Manager and Civil Engineer and Carol, a Primary School Teacher are now enjoying hosting Bed and Breakfast guests in Rotorua and will be happy to pass on their extensive local knowledge and share stories from around the world.
Carol's breakfasts are truly memorable, enjoy your choice of teas, coffee, freshly squeezed juice, cereals and fruit, followed by the hot dish of the day, and if you are still up for it, toast or croissants with a selection of homemade preserves.
