Situated about 4 minutes walk from the Martinborough Sqaure with several wineries an easy stroll away, golf courses, surf beaches, trout fishing, restaurants and the wind farm within comfortable driving range. The cottage stands on a well fenced quarter acer section with abundant fruit trees and lawn. The rural feeling is enhanced by a large empty section adjacent and uninterrupted views to the Rimutaka Hills over Centennial and Considine Parks. The public swimming baths are at the end of the street and the Information Centre round the corner. Stock Route cottage provides spacious and comfortable, if slightly rustic, self-contained accommodation with two queen-sized rooms and one twin. All linen is provided and a trundle bed, double sofa bed or cot may be organised. The bathroom has a shower, clawfoot bath and WC (second WC at the back). The living room with open fire, TV and music is separate from the kitchen/family room which provides Kent fire, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer stocked with basic items. Gas BBQ and outdoor seating complete the picture.
