This brand new house on the beach front at Peka Peka is in a very private and quiet area with trees to the south and only the sea and beach to the north west. The homne has it's own private walkway to the beach. The entrance area features a pool and interior garden situated between the living areas and bedroom wing. Master bedroom has outstanding views of Kapiti Island from both the bedroom and large bathroom containing a large free standing bath and featuring sliding doors opening to an outdoor courtyard with sculpture, pots and planting. The bedroom wing features two queen sized bedrooms with one having it's own courtyard and a large utility area and bathroom.
You can enjoy outdoor living on several decks, one from the living room looking out to the sea, one from the pool area with Kapiti in the foreground and a large sheltered deck from the kitchen/pool area. There is also a small sitting area featuring desks for reading and writing next to the garage entry. The fully equipped kitchen features a walk in pantry as well as the latest appliances. There is a large downstairs living area which has a sitting room with a pull out double bed and direct access to the garden and walkway to the beach.This house is ideal for a couple wanting complete privacy and peace with wonderful views and their own private pool, for three couples or a group of friends wanting to share this unique environment. Peka Peka beach is a safe swimming and surfing beach which you often have to yourselves. You can gather shell fish in the shallows, go line fishing or walk along the beachd for miles. In the evenings just sit and enjoy the magnificent sunsets from the living room deck and listen to the birds, especially the tuis feeding on the flax flowers. In the mornings enjoy your breakfast from the sunny sheltered deck outside the kitchen.
We have a micro climate in Peka Peka, often it can be warm and sunny here while it is wet and windy in Wellington. Only an hour from Wellington to the south and Palmerston North to the north this is an ideal base if you wish to explore the southern part of the North Island.
