Historic cottage located at the foot of the ancient volcanic mountain Mt Somers. 5 minutes from mountain beech forest & start of Mt Somers Track. Close to Hakatere Conservation Park, Lake Heron and Mt Sinday, location of Edoras in the Lord of the Rings movies. Situated in peaceful countryside with deer grazing in adjacent paddocks. Cottage is fully self-contained. Meals available on request
