Museum Lodge is located right in the heart of the rural town of Dannevirke on State Highway 2. We are just over an hour from Napier and Hastings, 40 minutes from Palmerston North and around 2 1/2 hours north of Wellington.
On the 'Classic Wine Trail' through the Hawkes Bay and Wairarapa areas and nicely placed between both.
Upstairs are 2 luxury bedrooms with separated private bathrooms. King and/or king single bed arrangements available.
1 separate wheelchair access suite is located downstairs, This is capable of sleeping up to 5 people in two bedrooms, and with a private wet area bathroom. Staying for a night or longer is easy for those with friends or relations with disabilities. This unit is also ideal for a family travelling with children, with a large double bed in the main bedroom and a small bedroom off it with a double/single bunk combination sleeping up to an extra 3.
The downstars accommodation can also be rented out for longer and/or self catered stays - please enquire.
All bedrooms are supremely comfortable and have bathrobes available in each room.
There are comfortable lounge areas, a well stocked library, a wonderful sun lounge, a formal dining room and all available for guest use.
