Mc Kerrow Cottage provides comfortable, self-contained, family accommodation.
It is situated in the Lake Hawea village and has lake views. Access to the lake is directly opposite. It is a 20min walk (2km) along the lake front to the well stocked grocery shop, restaurant and hotel.There are tennis courts, a children's playground, and a bowling green in the village and a golf course (9 holes) 5min drive away.
There is pleny of off street parking for both vehicles and boats and the property is fenced.
This is the ideal spot from which to explore Central Otago or enjoy a summer or skiing holiday (3 ski fields nearby) It is on the direct route to Haast and the West Coast, Wanaka is 15 min away and Queenstown 1 hour.

Lovely warm inviting house, thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay here. Gill was a charming host. Only 10 minutes to Wanaka. Beautiful views, would highly recommend.

McKerrow Cottage is spacious, relaxing, wonderful views across the lake, close to Wanaka and to great walks. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was just magical! A big thanks to Gill who made us so welcome, we will be back for sure!

Sadly we only had one night to spend in this lovely cottage but it was thoroughly enjoyable and we will try to come again. It is a very welcoming and comfortable place with unsurpassed views of Lake Hawea and the mountains and presents great value for money. The hosts made us feel very welcome.
