Lyness Accommodation is a very private and romantic getaway with water views over the Kerikeri Inlet. We offer 2 double self contained units—Lyness Cottage and Lyness Suite. Lyness Cottage is separate from our house with access to it a short stroll down a garden path. Lyness Suite is located in a separate wing of our home with its own entrance. Both are self contained with kitchenettes and outside barbecues. Lyness Cottage has a separate bedroom with queen sized bed and ensuite bathroom which has a large claw foot bathtub with shower overhead. The kitchen cupboards with leaded glass and kauri bench top were recycled from our main house. The lounge has French doors opening onto a deck with unobstructed views over the Kerikeri Inlet. Sit and relax while watching our sheep graze at your doorstep or listen to the abundant bird life. Enjoy seclusion and tranquillity in this magic spot. Our second choice, is Lyness Suite, which is a luxurious and romantic retreat also with views over the Kerikeri Inlet and our beautiful gardens. There is a super-king size bed (or 2 king singles) at one end of the room with a seating area and dining table at the other end complete with open fireplace. There is a gorgeous ensuite bathroom with spa bath for 2, walk in tiled shower,and in floor heating. The suite has windows all across the front maximizing the views and a private verandah with outside seating to sit and enjoy the ambience. Lyness Suite has high speed wireless internet and also has an overflow room available for 2 extra guests. Lyness Cottage and Lyness Suite have a 1920`s old world feel to them with lovely tongue and groove wood lined walls and polished rimu floors. They both have a TV, DVD, stereo, and lots of books on the local region. They come supplied with fresh flowers, local chocolates, a fresh fruit bowl, tea and coffee, and Living Nature toiletries. Breakfast is available upon request. We are situated about 3 k's out of Kerikeri on a no exit road.

One can enjoy the almost endless aquatic opportunities the Bay of Islands has to offer including fishing, boating, kayaking, diving, snorkelling or just relaxing on one of Northlands beautiful beaches!
