The Lake Hawea Motor Inn has been operating for 15 years and is situated on the southern shores of Lake Hawea in a peaceful and picturesque location.
Lake Hawea is 15km north of Lake Wanaka on the Wanaka/Haast highway.
We have 12 motel units each with a stunning view of the Lake.
We have 4 studio units (two of which are wheelchair accessible). These units have a queen bed and a single or sofa bed. These units sleep 2-3 people.
We also have 8 Family units which have a queen and sofa bed downstairs and a double and single bed upstairs on a mezzanine level.
All our motel units have private bathrooms, a balcony and tea & coffee making facilities.
Our Lodge has 11 private rooms with 2 or 4 single bunk beds. There are shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Linen and towels are provided.
The Lake Hawea Motor Inn also offers a restaurant that is open all day every day and two spacious bars. We also have a guest laundry.
Local attractions include walking and biking tracks, fishing, golf course, sky diving, Warbirds museum, puzzling world, scenic flights, jetboating.
