Kawau Lodge offers hosted accommodation in two tastefully decorated ensuite queen bedrooms, opening onto deck areas with bush and sea views. We also have a super king room with ensuite and private deck area. This room can also be configured into two single beds. All meals are provided using fresh, local fruit and vegetables. We will personally pick you up from Sandspit in our 28' boat and you can enjoy the 25 minute journey across to Kawau Lodge. We have our own private all tide jetty. Kayaks,fishing and discovery charters available. Listen to the bird song, bush walks,enjoy the tropical gardens or just sit back and relax with a book from our extensive library. All inclusive packages available. Ask about our honeymoon package.

Local Activities:

Birdwatching at Tiritiri bird scantuary. Scuba diving trips to Goat Island. Great bush walks on island, visit famous Mansion House, fishing trips arranged or fish off our private jetty. Discovery tours of Kawau arranged. Great for bird watching. Beforehand, visit the wine country of Matakana and then come over for the night. Small functions, weddings catered for.
