Hilltop Ruapehu is nestled on six private & secluded acres, yet minutes from the cafes and shops of Taumarunui. Hilltop is a great place to unwind - relax & enjoy amongst peace & seclusion. The Lodge sleeps up to six - 1 Queen en-suite, 1 Queen and 1 Double. The Cottage sleeps two - 1 Queen en-suite. A challenging golf course is nearby. The Whanganui River, a world class fishing river is a ten minute walk from Hilltop. Mt Ruapehu ski area is a 40 minute drive. Tongariro National Park is 25 minutes drive. The Whanganui National Park - Te Maire walk is ten minutes drive. Locally there are jet boat rides, quad tours, kayaking, walking and cycle tracks. Hilltop Ruapehu is non smoking - ashtrays are provided on the terraces. There are walking tracks and picnic areas on the estate. Hilltop Ruapehu is not suitable for children 12 years and under.
