Galleries, sea-kayaking, Touch the Sea, horse riding,golf, World of Wearable Art and Nelson potteries and vineyards are all right here. Rabbit Island beach and safe rivers for swimming are 10 minutes away. Corru Gate is central for exploration and adventure. Three national parks are within an hour for climbing, tramping, skiing rafting and kayaking.

Nearby - lots of beaches, internationaly renowned inlet, sea kayaking, golf, horse riding. Five vineyards are just up the road. Hoglund's Glass, World of Wearable Art, and most Nelson potteries are right here; Rabbit Island and Kina Golf course - 10 minutes; Kaiteriteri Beach - 30; superb swimming rivers 10-20. Three national parks are within an hour; Nelson city is an easy 30km away
