We are located on the corner of State Highway 25 and the Tapu Road. Come and relax in a friendly Backpackers accommodation adjacent to an iconic country tavern. Handy to the Pinnacles. Situated mid-way between Whitianga and Hot Water Beach. Accommodates 15 in double rooms, twin rooms, and dormitory rooms. Linen provided. Beautiful, peaceful river just across the road. Hear the native bird calls. And have a night out in our friendly tavern with great country food, and good beers. Just 2 hours to Auckland airport (there is a door service available from Go Kiwi). We have a free courtesy bus to take you to Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove. Bush/Beach walks. On Sunday mornings, visit our Mondays and Tuesdays the Tavern opens at 12 noon, other days at 11 am. The Tavern is closed on Mondays May - September, Backpackers still accesible on those days.
