Blackmore Cottage is a beautifully restored fully furnished 1855 cottage set in an award winning garden near the centre of town. The garden has an extensive range of organic vegetables and fruit which guests are welcome to use. Blackmore Cottage is within walking distance to town, movie theatres, waterfront restaurants, Nelson's best fish and chip shop, Nelson Yacht Club and the Trafalgar Centre and Trafalgar Park. It has two bedrooms downstairs (a double and a twin/super king) and twin beds or superking upstairs. Blackmore Cottage has a full kitchen, indoor and outdoor eating areas, fantastic verandahs and full laundry facilities. The cottage is set in a historic precinct and has been restored to an amazing standard, every guest has simply loved it. It is warm in winter and cool in summer. Complementary Nelson wine and breakfast basket with every booking and cycles available for guests use. All linen is supplied.
Blackmore Cottage is 3 minutes drive to Tahunanui Beach and 7 minutes to Nelson Airport. It is 2 minutes walk to pick up point for Abel Tasman National Parks bus. Within 1 or 2 hours drive of 3 National Parks and close to 2 marine reserves.

We also have a second cottage very close to Blackmore Cottage available called Gibson Cottage. Gibson Cottage also has 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6 and has been beautifully restored; is warm and comfortable. Walking distance to centre of town, Trafalgar Centre, Trafalgar Park and waterfront restaurants. Gibson Cottage tariff is also $170 per night. Both cottages can be booked together for a larger group or can be booked separately.
