Just ten minutes stroll along the beach or road to restaurants and cafes and the renowned Paraparaumu Beach Golf Course or the Kapiti Aero Club with its range of scenic and adventure flights. Other attractions include trips to Kapiti Island Bird Sanctuary, the Southward Car Museum, Wellington Tramway museum, local galleries, concerts and exhibitions, Lindale farm and Kapiti Cheese Factory, the Chocolate Factory and local Saturday markets and numerous walk and cycle tracks.
