We have the best of both worlds at The Mussel Bed, nestled amidst native bush, gardens and streams, yet only 5 minutes walk to beautiful Cooks Beach. A perfect base to explore nearby Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach! Kayak the stream from our jetty and enjoy the natural bird habitat, exploring caves and walking on gorgeous Lonely Bay! Finish your day unwinding by the fire, with a wine from our local vineyard, in the company of fellow travellers. Our gest wing has 3 luxurious suites, tiled ensuites and french doors opening onto private decks with all those special touches our guests love. We bring breakfast to you to enjoy in the garden, room or deck - try our delicious homemade muesli and bread, yoghurt drizzled with honey, fruit compote and maybe muffins to take on your picnic. We look forward to making your stay on the beautiful Coromandel a special one!
Our charming "Mussel Bed Cottage" is self catering with 2 double bedrooms - queen bed upstairs and 2 king singles downstairs - a well equipped kitchen and tiled bathroom. Ideally suited to one couple or 2 couples on holiday together, for those longer stays. One party bookings only. (Foldup beds available for children). Breakfast hamper included for your first day only! 5 day min booking over peak summer & public holidays.
