Dorset Apartments provides self-catering 1-2 bedroom holiday guest apartments in central Christchurch. Catering for vacation or business travellers, these renovated holiday apartments are located in a 1920s wooden character house.

Dorset Apartments have Christchurch accommodation options available all year around. Our City apartments are located in central Christchurch on Peterborough St and combine the benefits of a central location with the peace of a quiet side-street. They are a few minutes walk from Cathedral Square, as well as restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, Christchurch Town Hall, Convention Centre and Casino.

All apartments contain everything needed for a comfortable stay, including quality furniture, TV & DVD player, queen-sized beds, all linen, a fully equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean bathroom, laundry facilities, towels and heating. Off-street parking is available. The apartments can accommodate between 2 and 6 guests.

WiFi access is available at low cost in the holiday apartments. Just login, create a free account and enjoy internet access.

NEW for 2010 are our St Albans apartments, located in a central suburb on leafy Bishop St, just 5 minutes drive from the city. These units are quiet and spacious, providing 1 or 2 bedroom apartment accommodation close to the central city. With plenty of off-street carparking available, they are an ideal option for those studying, relocating, emigrating, or just looking for a quiet, well-priced accommodation option close to the central city. Opening November 2010 for the summer.

1 bedroom apartment - $89 per night for two. Up to 1 extra adult - $25 per night.

2 bedroom apartment - $148 per night for four. Up to 2 extra adults, $25 each per night.

1 bedroom apartment sleeps 2 in 1 double bedroom with queen bed. $89 per night. Up to 1 extra adult on sofa bed in the lounge - $25 per night. There is no separate dining area in the 1 bedroom apartments.

2 bedroom apartment sleeps 4 in 2 double bedrooms with queen beds. $148 per night. Up to 2 extras at $25 each, per night.

High chairs and cots on request. WiFi internet and carparking.

Availability:

Dorset Apartments City is available all year around.

Dorset Apartments St Albans is available during summer months.

There is limited space over the Christmas and New Year period. Please enquire.

Christmas bookings must include the night of 25 December. New Years bookings must include 31 Dec/1 Jan. There will be no check-outs on these days.

Activities:

Christchurch is a busy city, with heaps to do. It's home to festivals and sports, and there is always something happening.

Christchurch's Summertimes Festival runs from November until March, and offers a host of free outdoor concerts in Hagley Park, including a Christmas concert, and Classical Fireworks concert, city-sponsored live music, and more. Keep your eye out for free theatre in the botanic gardens, the ghost tours at the Arts Centre, local markets, exhibits and events.

The World Buskers Festival happens every January, with international acts on the streets of the city. In February, view the carpets of flowers at the Cathedral. In winter, enjoy the Winter Festival in Cathedral Square. Christchurch has a huge range of free events - make the most of what's happening!
