Cape View Cottage boasts decks on 3 sides to take advantage of all day sun and the stunning views over town sea and local countryside. It is warm quiet and secure being set up a private road, well away from traffic noise.It is a self-contained studio unit and it has wheelchair access.Cape View Cottage is set on 100 acres, on the outskirts of Oamaru (pop 13,500)on the east coast of the South Island of New Zealand. Oamaru is a small picturesque town in North Otago,which is known for it's historic buildings, constructed of the local stone. Yellow eyed and blue penguin colonies are only 6 minute's drive from Cape View Cottage, and many restaurants and cafes are even closer. There are many attractions within an easy drive, including Aoraki Mt Cook, the country's highest mountain, and the world famous Moeraki boulders.Your friendly hosts can advise of other places of interest nearby.Outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ are available.
