Abisko Lodge, Apartments and Campground offer Methven (Mt Hutt) accommodation options close to the foothills of Mount Hutt, Canterbury, South Island, New Zealand. Mount Hutt Ski Area is one of New Zealand's most popular ski areas with its close proximity to Christchurch, over 680m (2240ft) of vertical and annual average snowfall of 4m (13ft).
Just over one hour's comfortable drive from Christchurch International Airport, Abisko accommodation offers travellers a wide range of accommodation to suit most budgets.
How you relax is up to you. For in-house lodge guests we have a small exchange library available and a quiet area to read. You may choose to play one of the variety of board and card games available or you may prefer to indulge yourself by just relaxing and unwinding in the on-site Jacuzzi spa pool or sauna.
Staying in touch is a breeze with the high speed broadband internet café complete with Skype headphones and webcams. Have your own laptop? Not a problem as Abisko Lodge also has reliable high speed broadband Wi-Fi (wireless) and LAN cables, so there is no excuse for not sending your holiday snaps back home.
A separate lounge area for the campground will ensure all our guests have a nice place to relax. A second broadband internet café, with 24/7 access, complete with Skype headphones and webcams has been installed, so campground guests can also stay in touch.

Checkin Procedure: Office hours are 8am to 8pm daily. For late arrivals, please contact us and we will arrange a late check-in. Early check-in and late check-outs are by arrangement only.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 30 days or more from date of arrival will be charged a fixed cancellation fee of NZD50. The full cost of the booking is charged if cancellation is made less than 30 days prior to expected arrival or in case of No show.
Tax: The rates are inclusive of all taxes.
